§ 50-40-82. Oversight and coordination of state efforts for broadband services.
In addition to developing the program provided for in Code Section 50-40-81, the Department of Community Affairs shall provide oversight and coordination of state efforts to apply for, utilize, and implement public and private grants, programs, designations, and other resources for the deployment of broadband services and other emerging communications technologies. (Code 1981, § 50-40-82 , enacted by Ga. L. 2018, p. 629, § 6-1/SB 402.) Code Commission notes. - Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2018, "Code Section 50-40-81" was substituted for "Code Section 50-39-81" in this Code section.
