§ 20-3-280. Lender and school audits; program reviews; corrective actions.

The corporation is authorized: To examine and audit accounts and records of lenders and schools relative to educational loans guaranteed by the corporation; To conduct program reviews with appropriate officers and personnel of lenders and schools as may be necessary or appropriate to assure compliance by all parties with this part and the federal act; and To take or require that such corrective, remedial, or preventive actions be taken as may be necessary or appropriate to protect the interests of the corporation, the United States, lenders, schools, present and future borrowers, and the public at large.
