§ 49-4-188. Assistance for qualified aliens.

As used in this Code section, the term "qualified alien" means a qualified alien as defined in Section 431 of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, as amended, Public Law 104-193. Qualified aliens will be eligible for assistance under the Georgia TANF Program upon meeting the same qualifications and conditions as other applicants. (Code 1981, § 49-4-188 , enacted by Ga. L. 1997, p. 1021, § 6; Ga. L. 1998, p. 850, § 1; Ga. L. 1999, p. 845, § 1; Ga. L. 2001, p. 790, § 1.)
