§ 38-2-153. State property and fiscal officer; appointment; duties; reports; bonds; compensation.
The adjutant general may appoint, designate, or detail, subject to the approval of the Governor, a person as the state property and fiscal officer, who shall, under the authority of the adjutant general, have charge of, issue, and be accountable for all state military property and shall make such property returns and reports of the same as the adjutant general may direct. He or she shall be under bond to the state for such amount as the Governor may deem necessary. The adjutant general shall fix the compensation of the state property and fiscal officer. (Ga.
