§ 24-9-903. Subscribing witness's testimony.
The testimony of a subscribing witness shall not be necessary to authenticate a writing unless required by the laws of the jurisdiction whose laws govern the validity of the writing. (Code 1981, § 24-9-903 , enacted by Ga. L. 2011, p. 99, § 2/HB 24.) History of section. - Former Code Section 24-7-5, which contained comparable provisions to this Code section, as effective January 1, 2013, was derived in part from the decision in McVicker v.
