§ 14-2-129. Penalty for signing false document.
A person who signs a document he knows is false in any material respect with intent that the document be delivered to the Secretary of State for filing shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00. (Code 1981, § 14-2-129 , enacted by Ga. L. 1988, p. 1070, § 1.)
