§ 20.29. Department of Citrus; Florida Citrus Commission; executive director.
(1) The head of the Department of Citrus is the Florida Citrus Commission created under s. 601.04. (2) The executive director of the Department of Citrus shall be appointed by a majority vote of, and serves at the pleasure of, the Florida Citrus Commission. The Florida Citrus Commission shall fix the executive director’s compensation and, in addition to any powers and duties assigned to the executive director by law, shall assign the executive director’s powers and duties.
