§ 17.575. Administration of funds; Treasury Investment Council.

(1) There is created a Treasury Investment Council within the Division of Treasury consisting of at least five members, at least three of whom are professionals from the private sector, who must possess special knowledge, experience, and familiarity in finance, investments, or accounting. The members of the council must be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Chief Financial Officer. Each member shall serve a term of 4 years from the date of appointment. The council shall annually elect a chair and vice chair from among its members. (2) The council shall review the investments required by s. 17.57; meet with staff of the Division of Treasury at least biannually; and provide recommendations to the Division of Treasury and the Chief Financial Officer regarding investment policy, strategy, and procedures. (3) Members of the council shall serve without additional compensation or honorarium, but may receive per diem and reimbursement for travel expenses as provided in s. 112.061.
