§ 560.506. Rulemaking authority.

The commission shall adopt rules to administer this part as required in s. 13 of the GENIUS Act, Pub. L. No. 119-27. The commission shall also adopt rules relating to capital, liquidity, and risk management which are consistent with s. 4(a)(4) of the GENIUS Act, Pub. L. No. 119-27. The commission may adopt rules establishing standards for the conduct, supervision, examination, and regulation of qualified payment stablecoin issuers, including requirements relating to reserves, customer-asset protection, reporting, and compliance, in order to meet the minimum requirements established by the Stablecoin Certification Review Committee.
