§ 401.013. Legislative intent.

It is the intention and purpose of the Legislature that a statewide system of regional emergency medical telecommunications be developed whereby maximum use of existing radio channels is achieved in order to more effectively and rapidly provide emergency medical service to the general population. To this end, all emergency medical service entities within the state are directed to provide the Department of Management Services with any information the department requests for the purpose of implementing the provisions of s. 401.015, and such entities shall comply with the resultant provisions established pursuant to this part.
