§ 11-40-108. Circulating false information - penalty.
Any person who willfully and knowingly concurs in or is responsible, directly or indirectly, for the making, publishing, or posting, either generally or privately, to actual or prospective members or investors of any false or misleading information tending to imply that any other business operated in this state is a savings and loan association or operated in the manner of a savings and loan association or is regulated in whole or in part under the provisions of articles 40 to 46 of this title 11 commits a class 2 misdemeanor.
