Except as otherwise provided in Section 8836 and notwithstanding any other provision of law, the purchaser of property subject to delinquent installments of principal or interest on an assessment or reassessment at the tax collectorâs sale pursuant to Part 13 (commencing with Section 8800), or at a foreclosure sale by order of court pursuant to Part 14 (commencing with Section 8830), shall take the property subject to all future installments of principal and interest on any assessment or reassessment which are not due and payable at the time of the tax collectorâs sale pursuant to Part 13 (commencing with Section 8800), or at the time of the judgment pursuant to Part 14 (commencing with Section 8830), without regard to the priority of the lien thereof.
