§ 16519.53. A resource family shall be authorized to administer emergency medical assistance
(a) A resource family shall be authorized to administer emergency medical assistance and injections for severe diabetic hypoglycemia and anaphylactic shock to a foster child in placement in accordance with subdivision (a) of Section 1507.25 of the Health and Safety Code. (b) A resource family shall be authorized to administer subcutaneous injections of other medications, including insulin, as prescribed by a childâs physician, to a foster child in placement in accordance with subdivision (b) of Section 1507.25 of the Health and Safety Code.
