§ 9-27-354. Progress reports on juveniles.

The court may order progress reports from a service provider whenever a juvenile is placed out of home and in a setting other than a Department of Human Services foster home. The order shall: Set forth the schedule for the progress reports; and Identify the service provider responsible for submitting the progress reports. The service provider shall be provided a copy of the written court order by: Certified mail, restricted delivery; or Process server. Failure to follow the order of the court shall subject the service provider to contempt sanctions of the court. A progress report shall include, but not be limited to the: Reason for admission; Projected length of stay; Identified goals and objectives to be addressed during placement; Progress of the juvenile in meeting goals and objectives; Barriers to progress; Significant behavioral disruptions and response of provider; and Recommendations upon the juvenile's release. The service provider shall immediately report any incidents concerning the juvenile's health or safety to: The juvenile's attorney or attorney ad litem; and The custodian of the juvenile.
