§ 8-7-1205. Powers and duties of the board.

The Abandoned Pesticide Advisory Board shall have the following powers and duties: To identify any abandoned pesticides which shall be excluded from the collection and disposal program; To advise and make recommendations to the State Plant Board regarding projects for collecting and disposing of abandoned pesticides; To advise and make recommendations to the State Plant Board on the issuance of requests for proposals from contractors; To review and evaluate proposals for the collection and disposal of abandoned pesticides; To select proposals for the collection and disposal of abandoned pesticides to be implemented; and To approve payments from the Abandoned Agricultural Pesticide and Plant Regulator Disposal Trust Fund for collection and disposal projects.
