§ 6-71-117. Publication of notice for collection.
The collector shall immediately upon receipt of the assessment list cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the district a notice which shall be in the following form: The notice shall be published for two (2) weeks. “SPECIAL ASSESSMENT The tax books for the collection of the special assessment upon the real property in the Special Improvement District have been placed in my hands. All owners of real property lying in the district are required to pay their assessment to me within thirty (30) days from this date. If such payment is not made, action will be commenced at the end of that time for the collection of the assessment and for legal penalties and costs. Given unto my hand this day of , 20 .
