§ 4-19-104. Filing requirements.
Notwithstanding §§ 4-9-302(3) , 4-9-302(4) , 4-9-401(1) , and 4-9-402 — 4-9-406 : If filing is required under the Uniform Commercial Code, subtitle 1 of this title, the proper place to file statements pertaining to a security interest in personal property or fixtures of a transmitting utility is in the office of the Secretary of State; When the financing statement covers goods of a transmitting utility which are or are to become fixtures, no description of the real estate concerned is required; A security interest in rolling stock of a transmitting utility may be perfected either as provided in § 20(c) of the Interstate Commerce Act or by filing a financing statement pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code as provided in subdivision (1) of this section; and A financing statement filed pursuant to subdivision (1) of this section shall remain effective until terminated without the need for filing a continuation statement under § 4-9-403.
