§ 15-32-410. Fees.
County timber inspectors shall be entitled to receive the following fees for services: Five cents (5¢) per thousand feet (1000') for scaling or measuring and making out survey bills for all logs they are called upon to scale or measure; Twelve cents (12¢) per thousand feet (1000') running measure for measuring square timber; and Ten cents (10¢) per thousand feet (1000') for sawed lumber, including bills. In all such cases, fees shall be paid by the owner of the logs, timber, or lumber scaled or measured; Fifty cents (50¢) for recording each mark; and For recording any mortgage, bill of sale, or other written instrument, the same fees allowed by law to county recorders for recording like instruments.
