§ 15-20-1105. Regulatory considerations.

In developing rules to implement this subchapter, the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission shall consider: The current and projected level of nutrients in the soil within the area; The current or potential impacts of surplus nutrients within the area; Litter produced and applied in the area; Commercial fertilizer, compost, and other sources of nutrients applied within the area; The current or projected nutrient needs within the area, including the nutrient level necessary to maintain soil fertility, current and future cropping patterns, and those crops' demands for nutrients; The soil type, geology, hydrology, and other physical characteristics of the area; The types of water bodies and the uses of the waters within the area; and Any other relevant information necessary to effect the purposes of this subchapter.
