§ 8-5-902. Definitions and applicability.
As used in this subchapter: “Commission” means the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission; [Repealed.] “Long-term improvement project” or “project” means any remediation or reclamation project at closed or abandoned: Mineral extraction sites; Solid waste management units as defined pursuant to the Arkansas Hazardous Waste Management Act of 1979, § 8-7-201 et seq.; Oil and gas extraction sites; Brownfield sites as defined in Acts 1995, No. 125, or as may be amended; and Hazardous substance sites listed on the National Priorities List, 42 U.S.C. § 9605, or state priority list, § 8-7-509(f), or as may be amended; and “Water quality standard” means standards developed through administrative rulemaking by the commission.
