§ 6.1724. Prosecution.
(a) For purposes of prosecution for violations of this chapter, the Office of the Attorney General has jurisdiction to be exercised as follows: (1) Prosecution shall commence with a written request from the Commission or upon the issuance of an order of the court; and (2) In the case of all offices, parties, or issues, the Attorney General shall prosecute any violation. (b) The court shall give priority to the expeditious processing of suits under this section. (c) Prosecuting for violation of any provision of this chapter shall not be commenced after 1 year has elapsed from the date of the violation or date of filing of the report covering the period in which the violation occurred, whichever is later.
