§ 46.4234. Violation

(a) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or who refuses to obey any lawful order issued under the authority of this chapter is guilty of a class A misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced accordingly, and any arms involved may be confiscated by the government. (b) All arms confiscated as provided in subsection (a) shall be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Safety who shall, within thirty days of receipt of the confiscated arms, file a return under oath with the court ordering the confiscation informing the court that the arms have been destroyed or assigned to the inventory of a territorial law enforcement agency. A copy of said report shall be filed with the Attorney General at the same time. Amendments: 1980 Amended to conform with penalties provided for in Title 46, Criminal Justice.
