§ 42.0432. Arrest of defendants who may flee.

When the district court, acting either as an initiating or responding state, has reason to believe that the defendant may flee the jurisdiction, it may: (1) as an initiating state, request in its certificate that the court of the responding state obtain the body of the defendant by appropriate process if that is permissible under the law of the responding state; (2) as a responding state, obtain the body of the defendant by appropriate process. Amendments: 1979 Substituted reference to district court for reference to High Court.
