§ 25.0108. Removal of nuisance at owner’s expense.

In lieu of, or in addition to, the punishment authorized by this title, the Director of Health is authorized to abate and remove any public nuisance at the owner’s expense 10 days after written notice to the owner of the Director’s intention to do so if the nuisance is not abated within the 10-day period. The cost of the abatement of the nuisance by the Director shall be recovered by appropriate court proceedings. Amendments: 1979 Substituted Director of Health for Director of Medical Services and substituted “court proceedings” for “proceedings in the High Court of American Samoa”.
