§ 40.0511. Operation of judgment

Any judgment entered pursuant to this chapter, and the provisions contained therein, automatically operates as a full, obsolute and unconditional release and discharge of the person having the escheated property in possession or custody from any and all claims, demands, or liability to any person, other than the Treasurer, with respect to such property, and such judgment may be pleaded as an obsolute bar to any action brought against such person with respect to such property by any person other than the Treasurer.
