§ 17.0505. Executive director of the academy.

(a) First executive director. After the first organizational meeting of the board and for no more than 2 years thereafter, the President of the American Samoa Community College shall serve as the interim executive director. (b) Other executive directors. No more than two years after the initial meeting of the board, the board shall appoint an executive director. (c) Duties of the executive director. The executive director is responsible for the administration of the policies and functions of the academy as determined by the board. The executive director shall be responsible for the preparation and submission of an audit and annual financial report which shall include statements of all significant financial activity, as well as its assets and liabilities. (d) Compensation. The Executive director and clerical staff shall be compensated as determined by the board.
