§ 45-49-81. Supplemental Salary - Circuit or District Court.

In addition to the salaries paid to the bailiffs serving in the Circuit or District Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit by the state, there may also be paid to each of the bailiffs a supplemental salary not to exceed the sum equal to 40 percent of the salary paid to each of the bailiffs by the state. At the discretion of the Mobile County Commission, the supplemental salary shall be paid out of the general fund of the county in equal installments at the same time and in the same manner that the salaries of other county employees are paid.
