§ 45-37-11. Boundary Between Jefferson and Shelby Counties.
The boundary lines between Shelby and Jefferson Counties are hereby altered so that the following described property shall be detached from Shelby County and added to Jefferson County; to wit: A parcel of land 60 feet in width in the west half of southwest quarter of Section 9 the parcel of land being 30 feet wide on each side of the following described center line; Begin at Point R as located in the description of Parcel 4 as recorded in Deed Book 243, Page 94, Probate Office, Shelby County, Alabama; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line perpendicular to the center line of Parcel 4 at Point R 30 feet to the point of beginning of center line of Parcel 5; thence continuing in a northwesterly direction along the straight line 140.39 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, the arc turning to the right, having a radius of 287.94 feet and being subtended by a central angle of 37 degrees and 49 minutes; thence northwesterly along the arc 189.08 feet; thence northwesterly along a straight line tangent to the arc 101.15 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, the arc turning to the left, having a radius of 521.67 feet and being subtended by a central angle of 22 degrees and 05 minutes; thence northwesterly along the arc 200.75 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line tangent to the arc 269 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, said arc turning to the left, having a radius of 359.27 feet, and being subtended by a central angle of 32 degrees and 46 minutes; thence northwesterly along the arc 204.79 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line tangent to the arc 1.73 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, the arc turning to the right, having a radius of 955.37 feet and being subtended by a central angle of 18 degrees and 12 minutes; thence northwesterly along the arc 303.33 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line tangent to the arc 59.59 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, the arc turning to the right, having a radius of 287.94 feet and being subtended by a central angle of 41 degrees and 55 minutes and 30 seconds; thence northwesterly along the arc 209.68 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line tangent to the arc 216.83 feet to the point of beginning of the arc of a curve tangent to the straight line, the arc turning to the left, having a radius of 410.28 feet and being subtended by a central angle of 30 degrees and 29 minutes and 30 seconds; thence northwesterly along the arc 217.80 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction along a straight line tangent to the arc 132.47 feet to intersection with the west boundary of the southwest quarter of Section 9 at a point 53.1 feet south of the northwest corner of the southwest quarter, the
west boundary forming an angle of 34 degrees and 10 minutes to the right from the straight line, the west boundary being a boundary of Parcel 5 and the intersection being the terminus of center line of Parcel 5.
