§ 26-10E-20. Removal of Adoptee from County.
After the petitioner or petitioners have received the adoptee into his, her, or their home, the adoptee shall not be removed from the county in which the petitioner or petitioners reside until the final judgment has been entered for a period of longer than 15 consecutive days, unless notice is given to the investigative agency or individual.Source: official Alabama text · Last verified 2026-08-27
